Since it first began publication over a century ago, The Washington Post has grown into one of the most recognized news organizations in the world.
Mr. Branigin, a staff writer for the Virginia desk of the Post. He joined the Post in 1978 as a freelance correspondent and was hired as a staff writer two years later. He has worked as bureau chief in Asia, Mexico and the Middle East. US Dream Properties: In 75 words or less, contestants are asked to write about why they feel that they should win a particular property: Potomac River Waterfront, Oxon Park Apartments, Hot Springs House, Watergate Townhouse, or the Port Royal Condominium Apartment. Each essay will be judged on the basis of any and all positive social values contained within, to include topics such as art, humor, poetry, prose, and references to geographic, historic, economic, and religious events. Each essay will be judged on the spirit of the writing, not the grammatical perfection of the essay. There will be one winner per contest. Contestants may enter as many times as they like.
